What makes having an LG Fridge Filter so beneficial?
The genuine LT800P LG Filter is designed to improve the taste of your water, but it also saves you money by giving you clean tasting water on tap. Given that some bottled waters are no purer than tap water, you're already one step ahead with a fridge filter. This LG fridge filter is also designed to protect the internal operations of your fridge from sediment, dirt and scale build up. The LT800P removes over 90% of contaminants in independent NSF testing for standards 42 and 53.
How long should my LG Fridge Filter last?
Refrigerator manufacturers strongly recommend that fridge water filters be replaced every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on. However, if you notice a deterioration in the clarity or taste of your water, that's the best indication that it's time for a new filter! By regularly changing the LT800P filter you can reduce or avoid servicing costs, and keep your ice and water dispenser in optimal working order. Filter replacement is quick and easy.

How easy is it to install or change the LG Fridge Filter? Much easier than you think!
1 - Remove the old water filter
Lift up and remove the lower door bin from the left hand refrigerator door. Swing the right end of the water filter out of the compartment and then grasp and rotate the filter counterclockwise to remove it from the filter head.
Note: replacing the water filter could cause a small amount of water to drain. Place a cup under the filter head to catch any water.
2 - Replace with a new water filter.
Insert the new filter into the filter head and rotate it clockwise until the arrow on the new filter lines up with the arrow on the filter head. Swing the filter back into the compartment.
Refit the door bin. That's it!
