Cold-brew Cupping with Toddy

Traditionally, cupping coffee has always been through the form of hot brewing methods, until now!

Toddy has introduced the world's first cold brew cupping kit to the international stage.

Being the industry leaders in all things cold brew, the team at Toddy have realised that traditional methods of cupping don’t always relay the same coffee evaluation process when you are preparing for cold brew. With this in mind, they have developed the Cold Brew Cupping kit that allows you to evaluate your coffee for cold brew purposes, being super versatile you can now cup your cold brew using a similar method to a traditional cupping session. The kit has been designed to allow users to accurately assess cold brew extraction in its natural process, it has been discovered that flavour profiles and various characteristics that present during the cold brew process may be masked or hidden when using the traditional cupping methods.

The overall set up is clean and very simple to use. The beaker, filters and brew basket allow you to produce a ‘test batch’ of cold brew, after allowing the brew to steep (12-24 hours pending on your recipe). You can easily remove the grounds, let the excess brew drip with minimal mess or wastage, then you are ready to evaluate your brew. Ratios can be set as a concentrate or ready-to-drink beverage depending on what you’re wanting to achieve, as well as being able to control other variables like grind size and water temperature.
