Cleaning Your Kettle

With water being the main and most critical component of your daily brew, keeping your kettle clean is a must. However, cleaning your beloved pour over kettle is something that most people see as a monotonous chore that is generally put off until ‘next week’. But with Cafetto RESTORE you can bring your kettle back to pristine condition in no time at all and with no fuss.

As lovers of coffee, we take the time to research the best beans to make sure that we get the flavour profiles that we love. We make sure that our brewing apparatus is always clean and ready for the next time we crave a caffeine fix. We choose the best grinder possible, keep it clean, and change the burrs so they slice through the beans cutting perfectly without causing any damage to the coffee beans in this delicate process. Yet, our kettle generally sits on the bench being topped up and turned on multiple times a day, without getting a good clean. “It’s just water: it will be fine!” we think to ourselves, without realising that the inside of our kettles may be full of built-up contaminants from our tap water.

This is where Cafetto RESTORE comes in.

Cafetto has produced a unique blend of organic acids that work by breaking down and safely removing hard water scale. As well as kettles, Cafetto RESTORE can be used in water tanks for espresso machines, boilers, coffee brewers, urns, and bain-maries.

All you need to do is add the handy, portion controlled, one-dose 25 gram sachet of Cafetto RESTORE to 1 litre of warm water and wait for the powder to dissolve. Then, pour the mix into the kettle and leave it for around 15 minutes.

Empty the solution and rinse thoroughly - your kettle will be sparkling clean and free from contaminants, ready for your next brew!*

For added piece of mind, the team at Cafetto have gone to extensive lengths to ensure that Cafetto RESTORE powder meets multiple standards of certification:

  • Registered with Biological Farmers of Australia (BFA), as an allowed input in organic systems
  • Certified by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI)
  • Free from Phosphate and Genetically Modified Organisms
  • NSF Certified and listed; passed testing for stringent toxicology and corrosively standards.

*If your kettle has a large amount of built-up scale, you may need to repeat the process.
